Good headphones - Amy

all 4 generations are good

i have the 125,125i,125e and the 125x. they all sound so very good, but these are the most thunderous. my only complaint is the 3.5mm plug and it being straight, which i find the i/e-Grado right angled plugs more durable.

Excellent

These are marvelous headphones. Clarity , a balanced sound, a lovely spread of the sound a really notable qualities. Very comfortable to wear over extended periods.
The music at times was revealed more fully by these phones than from my experience listening with speakers. I have hearing aids and there was no need to remove them. A superb product totally satisfying.

Customer Service

The quality of sound reproduction of SR125x is quite exceptional. I am exceedingly pleased with these, my 2nd set of Grado headphones.

That said, Grado customer service is simply beyond compare. Theresa, an absolute sweetheart, was assisting me by phone and said, "Hold on a minute." Then John Grado picked up the line and spoke with me. I was near speechless that the owner of the company took that level of interest in my call.

Each interaction with Grado Labs has made me feel progressively confident in my purchase.

The product and the people are of the highest caliber.

Great Sound and Very Comfortable

This is my third pair of Grado headphones (I’ve previously had SR60e and SR80e) and by far the best sounding headphones I’ve ever had. One of the nicest qualities of these Grado headphones id that you don’t have to have expensive, high-end sound equipment for them to sound good. I have two relatively inexpensive CD players that I use. (My vinyl record collection is extensive and old. I took very good care of them cleaning them before and after each play. My old stereo receiver and turntable are about 50 years old. Playing CDs is just so much easier today.) But even with the inexpensive sound equipment, I still get a full range of superior sound quality with the SR125x headphones. I love good bass in my classic rock music, and it comes through with these headphones. Guitar sound, either electric or acoustic, is superior. I can actually understand what is being sung on vocals, something I couldn’t do with simple earbuds of inferior quality. Of course, the icing on the cake is they’re made here in America. The SR125x headphones are worth every penny…you won’t be disappointed!
