The Grado PS500 has been discontinued for many years but we found a few older PS500 housings, so we put together an X Series version. This is an extremely limited edition, less than a dozen available.
These rare hyhrid headphones are X series everywhere but the Aluminum and Maple housings. With our 4th generation drivers these PS500 Specials will deliver the sound you expect from a Grado. Included are the X Series braided cable and black leather headband.
These are final sales and include Grado's one year manufacturers warranty.

Excellent evolution of the Grado sound.

Right out of the box, I have found the PS500 Special to be an amazing headphone. It seems to combine the best aspects of the RS2x and SR325x while adding increased sound staging and incisiveness.

The included L-pads are very well made and comfortable.
