A One-of-a-Kind
Grado Headphone
Supporting Autism Awareness
Grado Labs has created a one-of-a-kind headphone in support of autism awareness, benefiting Eden II Programs. Built on the Signature S550 foundation, this unique piece was produced by Grado Labs and features a housing with hand-painted artwork added by an Eden II participant. Only one unit has been created, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Eden II.
For nearly 30 years, Grado Labs has supported Eden II Programs. Richard Grado has been personally involved with the organization throughout that time, including 14 years serving on the Board of Directors and four years as Board Chair. This long-standing relationship made this project a natural collaboration.
Eden II Programs is a Staten Island–based organization providing education, residential services, and community programs for individuals with autism. Serving children and adults throughout New York City and Long Island since 1976, Eden II is now celebrating its 50th anniversary.
This one-of-a-kind headphone was created specifically for this project. Grado Labs produced the piece and provided it to Eden II, where an Eden II participant added hand-painted artwork to the housing. The result is a single, unique piece combining Grado’s Signature Series design with individual artistic expression.
The headphone will be auctioned through Eden II, with bidding open through April 30 at 5:00 PM. The highest bidder will become the owner.
