The cables are constructed from the same high quality super annealed copper wire as the X-Series headphone cables, with braided sheathing. For longer lengths cables may be piggybacked up to 3 cables. Grado guarantees no degradation of sonic quality with Grado headphones while using their extension cable.

Well, Grado's 0 for 3 on headphones, foam pads, and now this cable. Cable connection was incomplete. Frequencies were getting cut. Holding the cable in a specific position where the cable meets the connector fixed the issue, but as soon as I let go of the cable, the frequencies go missing again. Clearly a faulty cable. Doesn't even seem like Grado testing functionality before testing and sending it out the door. Never buying a Grado product again.
Delivered in a timely manner. Sound quality remains high with my Grado RS2e phones. Great length. Good purchase.
