Grado Headphone Replacement G-Cushions

I purchased a pair of G Cushions for my HP 1000 Signature headphones which I bought new many years ago. Since I have owned them I have replaced the cushions a few times, always with F cushions which is what they came with. I wasn’t sure they would fit so I emailed Grado Labs and, to my surprise, got a reply from Richard Grado. I assume he is Joseph Grado’s son or grandson. He told me they would fit so I bought them. They are a significant upgrade to the F cushions in material, comfort and most importantly, sound. I also have a pair of SR-60s and plan to upgrade to G cushions for those as well. How nice to know that in today’s day and age there are still family owned companies like Grado Labs that actually care about their products and customers. Over the last several decades I have bought many Grado products including headphones and phono cartridges and will continue to do so.

The $50 headphone cushions are more than twice as good as the $25 headphone cushions. More "headroom" because they're bigger means better sound.

I bought these to replace the originals on my GH-2 headphones, which disintegrated and left black grime all over my ears the last time I used them. These look like the original replacement parts, but they are comically large - you can’t see their relative size on the website.
They do work fine, but look a little silly for such compact headphones. I went back and ordered the L-cushions. Hopefully they’re the correct size - the web site lists no dimensions, which could have saved me the trouble (and expense).

I love these oversize ear cushions, I wear glasses and they fit great over them
