Grado Headphone Replacement L-Cushions

Expensive for two pieces of foam, but they fit perfectly.

I have SR60’s from the late 90’s and HP-1000’s from the late 80’s. The new cushions feel great and preserve that gorgeous Grado sound!

I have owned a number of sets of Grados over the years, but I always come back to my SR225's, my first pair. Years later, they still sound incredibly articulate and lively. The one Achilles's heel has been the original ear cushions, which dry rotted after a number of years. I tried going with a cheaper substitute for a few years but eventually, they lost their springiness and no longer cushioned, making wearing them uncomfortable as well as muffling the sound almost imperceptibly. So I decided to get myself a set of the OEM cushions as I couldn't let the cans just sit unused. Night and day difference. The thick, tapered design creates the correct standoff from my ear which, along with the open center design, brought all the detail and comfort back. Great soundstage and as an added benefit my ears can breathe again. I had a little mishap with the post office but Grado was fantastic about taking care of me on it, the benefits of dealing with a hiugh quality family business that really cares about what the name on the side of the package means.

Replaced on a Professional Series PS500 (#4254)- that had sat unused in an unopened box for ?? years. Big difference!! Much more comfortable now. Request: Can you tell me the year these headphones were made? Thank you very much.
