Replaced my old red1 stylus with the new red3. It was an easy replacement and took about 5 min. The sound was already impressive before the stylus switch, but afterwards there was noticeable improvement in the sound stage and clarity. I am thinking either the red3 is an improved design compared to the old one, or I pushed the old one too far and waited too long to replace it. An easy 5 star rating for me as the new stylus did the job perfectly. Thanks.
I waffled on getting the green, red, or gold and eventually decided on the red. I love it. The first album I listened to was The Smiths and it sounded great!

I am hearing much more clarity on my theatre sound system. I installed the red stylus on a Grado Green cartridge. Adding this upgraded stylus really hit the spot. Also, I used to get a bit of hum on my system. Strangely enough it went away when I added a center speaker to the system. I am so happy because Grado cartridges and stylus have the best sound. I am really happy
