I have had a Grado blue cartridge for 27 years, never replaced the stylus. It was still sounding great, but I accidentally broke the stylus so I needed a replacement. I ordered the Grado red stylus & it sounds great even on a 27 year old cartridge.

Superior sound
Fantastic frequency response. Long-lasting and highly suitable across classical, early music, soul, disco, postpunk and ambient. A favorite for several years now. Thank you Grado!

Real Good!
This is a big step up from the Green stylus. I'm using it in an old F3+ body and just loving it! As usual, the transaction was flawless and it shipped quickly.

Red3 replacement stylus did the job!
Replaced my old red1 stylus with the new red3. It was an easy replacement and took about 5 min. The sound was already impressive before the stylus switch, but afterwards there was noticeable improvement in the sound stage and clarity. I am thinking either the red3 is an improved design compared to the old one, or I pushed the old one too far and waited too long to replace it. An easy 5 star rating for me as the new stylus did the job perfectly. Thanks.
