Replaced stock stylus in my Gold3 w/the MCZ.
The stock Gold3 is certainly no slouch, but the MCZ stylus makes a noticeable difference and really takes it to the next level. The stock Gold 3 had little to improve on when it came to bass, and I notice the bass is a bit tighter, but where the MCZ really shines is in the upper mid and the treble. Everything is just "that much more" well-defined.
And the soundstage seems wider and deeper as well.
For the price of a Gold3 and the MCZ taken together, the whole package is frighteningly good!
I put this on my Prestige Red cartridge whose stylus was over 10 years old but still serviceable and the MCZ made a notable difference: better clarity, increased depth and a wider soundstage. Worth the money!
This is one of the best updates I’ve performed on my system!!
