The SR325 incorporates Grado’s Signature Silver headband assembly developed from the same engineering platform as the Signature Gold system.
The assembly utilizes engraved reinforced polymer gimbals and junction blocks, maintaining the improved geometry and controlled rotation of the Gold platform while reducing weight.
A genuine leather headstrap with contrasting white stitching improves comfort, while the internal steel spring band allows listeners to easily adjust clamping pressure.

I've been using the Grado GW100x with a FIIO KA15 as my desktop headphone setup for the past 2 years and decided to level up my desktop setup once I saw Grado released the next generation of headphones.
These SR325 are the nicest Grado's I've owned in terms of cost, sound quality, and build quality having come from the SR60i to SR80e to the GW100x.
The sound is a lot clearer with better separation between instruments and vocals, there is more bass (though not enough to fully immerse in EDM music), and it does make rock and jazz a whole lot of fun to listen to. I'll save the bass heavy EDM for workouts with AirPods Pro 3.
The build quality is better than the GW100x. The gimbals seem sturdier and has "Grado Labs" etched into them and adjusting the headband is smoother. The headband has slightly more cushion.
I was a little worried about the cable length because I recall tying the SR60i/SR80e cable to shorten it back in college to walk around campus, but for the desktop, it is the perfect length. I love that it is this woven flexible thick material too.
The only downside might be that the earpads get uncomfortable after a while when listening with glasses on. It is very minimal cushion, and I might look into the L-Cushion down the road.
Overall, I'm very happy with my setup and happy to finally try out the SR325.
