I've owned various Grado headphones since 2006. The SR80, 325i, and 125x. I love the idea of supporting a fellow NYC business.
The 325x is by far my favorite Grado. It is a pleasure to listen to. No modifications done, original pads, and no issue at all. I listen to a wide array of different music, on both hi-res digital and on vinyl, in addition to some FM stereo.
It is a wonderful listen, plenty of balance to the sound and just seems to keep getting better.
I of course love the sound quality of Grado, so no surprises there. I do wish the cable was made of a softer, finer material, with a textile feel rather than stiff plastic.
